About the role
- Designs are functional and meet customer expectations
- Designs completed according to schedule
- Ensure designs meet engineering standards
- Perform design analysis and create manufacturing drawings
- Coordinate layout and design of equipment
- Work with manufacturing on build processes
Requirements
- 4-year education or technical 2-year education required
- Basic understanding of drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
- Mechanical power relationships
- Strength of materials and structural analysis
- Manufacturing processes
- Training and/or experience in using AutoCAD
- Training and/or experience in using SolidWorks
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong detail orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
