About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

support the Engineering and Design business unit by interfacing with clients to support the development of substation physical design deliverables for utility upgrades
responsible for understanding client and internal standards and developing deliverables for projects on time and within the budget
assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects
help ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates to team members and clients
support the growth and development of team members
build and sustain strong relationships with clients and internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
at least 10 years of relevant experience related to the job responsibilities described above
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain within one year
power systems analysis experience (SKM, EasyPower, ETAP)
possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future.
