About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • work with multidisciplinary project teams providing project and/or task management and technical support for the Water Resources group
  • perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis related to stormwater planning and flood control
  • assist with the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications
  • assist with planning, coordinating, and executing projects
  • ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates to project managers and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering with emphasis on water resources
  • 10+ years of water resources engineering experience with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, or water quality
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with proposals, business development and client management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • knowledge of commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling software, GIS, and CADD software
  • possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
