Key responsibilities & impact

work with multidisciplinary project teams providing project and/or task management and technical support for the Water Resources group
perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis related to stormwater planning and flood control
assist with the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications
assist with planning, coordinating, and executing projects
ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates to project managers and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering with emphasis on water resources
10+ years of water resources engineering experience with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, or water quality
Experience with project management
Experience with proposals, business development and client management
Professional Engineer (PE) license
knowledge of commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling software, GIS, and CADD software
possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
