About the role

  • Care and support of our residents in the gerontopsychiatric unit
  • Shared responsibility for coordinated, resident-centered nursing and care in collaboration with all parties involved in care, including in-house and specialist physicians
  • Advising relatives, authorized representatives and legal guardians
  • Needs-based, collegial advice on building relationships with residents, especially in cases of challenging behaviour
  • Shared responsibility for implementing the national expert standard "Relationship-centered care in the nursing of people with dementia"

Requirements

  • Completed training as a qualified nurse, geriatric nurse (m/f/d) or registered nurse (m/f/d)
  • Completed further training (600 hrs) as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or an equivalent recognised qualification (e.g. dual nursing degree)
  • Independent working style, sense of responsibility, commitment and team spirit
  • Open-minded, flexible personality who enjoys working with and for older people
  • Good German language skills
