About the role
- Build, manage, and execute high-impact parent-focused events across the country.
- Own the full event lifecycle—from planning and logistics through on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Partner with marketing leadership to build local event programs that drive awareness, education, and adoption.
- Partner with the B2B team on logistics execution of school-based events including device fairs, parent nights, etc.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Scout venues, secure permits, and coordinate vendors, rentals, and inventory.
- Build run-of-show agendas and staffing plans.
- Lead 2–3 monthly travel activations (typically 1–3 days each).
- Oversee setup, breakdown, tech needs, and product demo environments.
- Ensure brand presence feels inviting, polished, and emotionally resonant for parents.
- Train and manage on-site support staff and volunteers.
- Serve as quarterback to the delivery team —make sure they have everything they need to welcome, educate, and build relationships with parents, schools, organizations, and local leaders.
- Own follow-up touchpoints to maximize conversion, learning, relationships, and retention.
- Maintain detailed records, metrics, and learnings to refine the program and scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years of event management or field marketing experience (education, consumer tech, nonprofit, community, CPG, or retail preferred).
- Proven success owning end-to-end logistics.
- Outstanding project management and communication skills.
- High adaptability, strong judgment, calm under pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the U.S. to deliver events (30-40%).
- Ability to reliably access a major airport within approximately one hour of home
