Job Level
About the role
- Own design for your squad's workstream from discovery through delivery, across web and mobile
- Frame problems clearly before jumping to solutions and bring structure and rationale to design decisions
- Generate multiple concepts at pace, take feedback well, and iterate without backtracking
- Work with product managers, engineers and researchers to identify the right problems and validate your thinking
- Contribute to Bark's design system and help us build something consistent and scalable
- Use data, research and qualitative feedback to ground your work in evidence, not assumption
- Use AI tools as a natural part of your workflow, for research synthesis, rapid concept generation, and design quality
Requirements
- A strong senior IC with a track record of delivering real product impact, not just polished portfolios
- Comfortable with the full design process: framing, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, validation
- High craft standards across both mobile and desktop
- Confident with data. You use it to make decisions and to measure whether your work is working
- Self-directed and fast. You manage your own time, hit your commitments, and raise blockers early rather than disappearing into a problem
- Someone who takes feedback cleanly and moves forward, not someone who relitigates resolved decisions
- Ideally experience with two-sided marketplaces or conversion-focused product work
- Proficient in Figma; familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows is a genuine plus.
Benefits
- Fully Remote
- Professional development opportunities
