About the role

  • Strategic management of medium- and high-complexity corporate civil litigation matters
  • Drafting and reviewing procedural documents, including complaints, defenses, appeals and various court filings
  • Defining litigation strategy and assessing legal risks
  • Technical review of documents prepared by junior and mid-level attorneys
  • Support in mentoring and technical development of the team
  • Analysis of cases, court publications and notices
  • Management and control of litigation deadlines, including organizing calendars and actions in the case management system (CPJ)
  • Conducting hearings and oral arguments when necessary
  • Participation in internal meetings and client meetings
  • Preparation of case reports and strategic legal opinions
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of litigation workflows and activities

Requirements

  • Law degree with active OAB registration
  • Completed postgraduate degree in areas related to Civil Procedure or Corporate Law
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in civil litigation, preferably corporate litigation
  • Strong command of Civil Procedure
  • Experience drafting and reviewing complex procedural documents
  • Experience conducting hearings
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and concurrent demands
  • Experience providing technical guidance or supervising more junior attorneys
  • Familiarity with CPJ and electronic case management systems
  • Advanced English
  • Availability to travel
