About the role

  • Monitor personal calendar of deadlines and daily actions
  • Draft legal pleadings and submit them for review
  • Develop legal case analyses and support the preparation of pleadings
  • Send notifications to clients regarding case developments
  • Request powers of attorney and supporting documents for drafting pleadings
  • Organize and prepare case documents and file court submissions
  • Upload pleadings and filing receipts into CPJ and the client's file
  • Review and carry out actions indicated in CPJ
  • Assist in preparing and sending reports to clients and for audits
  • Conduct conciliation/settlement hearings
  • Participate in case proceedings and trials
  • Attend client meetings to provide technical/legal guidance
  • Enter billing instructions based on work performed
  • Conduct doctrinal and case law research
  • Participate in internal training and development activities

Requirements

  • Law degree (postgraduate studies related to the practice preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing litigation attorney
  • Knowledge and experience in Civil and Corporate/Business Law
  • Knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property is a plus
  • Active OAB registration – Paraná (OAB - PR)
  • CPJ (case management system)
  • Electronic court/filing systems
  • Word / Excel – Basic
