Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with stakeholders and use data and Management Information to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations using data-led insights
Participate in projects and initiatives to improve performance, optimisation, efficiency, and effectiveness
Develop reports and presentations on performance and optimisation and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders
Identify industry trends and developments and provide recommendations for change and improvement
Develop and implement analytics and reporting to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations
Support the design and delivery of end-to-end customer and colleague journey transformations across Barclays UK Business Banking front- and back-office operations
Contribute to Target Operating Model design and the elimination of process debt
Oversee customer journey mapping analysts’ output for timeliness and quality
Provide best-practice and conceptual guidance on journey mapping techniques
Integrate journey variant maps into consolidated views of customer journeys
Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain data references supporting journey visualisation
Develop visualisations highlighting customer pain points and process improvement opportunities
Use Figma and Blueworks Live to map current- and future-state journeys
Maintain a centralised journey register with traceability to customer outcomes and control requirements
Identify automation opportunities using RPA and AI/ML models
Support transformation delivery, business case development, benefit tracking, stakeholder reporting, and transformation governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in Target Operating Model design and customer-centric transformation delivery in banking and financial services, consulting, or global capability centers
Expert-level proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design
Expert-level proficiency in Blueworks Live for process mapping
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation and storytelling
Ability to translate complex operational challenges into simplified, scalable, digitally enabled journeys
Experience driving process optimization engagements that improve efficiency, customer experience, and risk management
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
Strong problem-solving skills to identify customer journey pain points
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global and cross-functional teams
Prior experience in agile transformation environments is preferred
Prior experience with customer experience or product teams is preferred
Familiarity with design thinking concepts is preferred
Familiarity with automation and AI technologies, including UiPath, Celonis, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Salesforce, Agentforce, CoPilot Studio, or Amazon Bedrock GenAI, is preferred
