About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in month-end close, including accruals, analysis, account reconciliations, allocations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
  • Analyze, book and forecast revenue. Includes verifying revenue recognition.
  • Participate in planning/forecasting cycles for all assigned accounts, including management reporting.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
  • Assist with sales and income tax returns and processing payments.
  • Supports internal and external information requests including; banking, tax, and audit.
  • Assist in the administration of accounting ran platforms (RAMP, NAVAN, Certify, ADP, Adaptive, Pento).
  • Monitor and review general ledger account activity for adherence to company policies and accounting controls.
  • Assist in treasury/banking activities, which may include bank account reconciliations, debt compliance reporting, and resolution of reconciliation issues.
  • Assist in year-end 1099 preparation, as needed.
  • Lead or participate in process improvements, department projects, or system enhancements, leveraging AI.
  • Maintains orderly, accurate and complete documentation in support of assigned work responsibilities and retention requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, including financial statement preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must take initiative, be self-motivated, be dependable with a positive, energetic approach.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
