About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in month-end close, including accruals, analysis, account reconciliations, allocations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Analyze, book and forecast revenue. Includes verifying revenue recognition.
- Participate in planning/forecasting cycles for all assigned accounts, including management reporting.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
- Assist with sales and income tax returns and processing payments.
- Supports internal and external information requests including; banking, tax, and audit.
- Assist in the administration of accounting ran platforms (RAMP, NAVAN, Certify, ADP, Adaptive, Pento).
- Monitor and review general ledger account activity for adherence to company policies and accounting controls.
- Assist in treasury/banking activities, which may include bank account reconciliations, debt compliance reporting, and resolution of reconciliation issues.
- Assist in year-end 1099 preparation, as needed.
- Lead or participate in process improvements, department projects, or system enhancements, leveraging AI.
- Maintains orderly, accurate and complete documentation in support of assigned work responsibilities and retention requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including financial statement preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must take initiative, be self-motivated, be dependable with a positive, energetic approach.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
