About the role
- Provide front line support on information systems technologies across the health system.
- Assist in providing application(s) configuration support, testing, implementation, and training.
- Enhance clinical, financial and administrative applications and operational efficiencies.
- Mentor other team members and lead group discussions.
- Lead small project teams to complete initiatives.
Requirements
- Associates Degree Computer Information Technology, Other related field Required or
- - Three years of related experience maybe considered in lieu of degree Required
- 3 years Healthcare IT experience Required
- Working knowledge of EHR, ancillary clinical systems, revenue cycle systems, and HIT.
- Knowledge of integration with ancillary applications such as Laboratory systems and Radiology or PACS systems, and Admitting/Registration, Revenue Cycle, HIM or web/mobile applications.
- General understanding of interfaces, coding standards, and healthcare data standards.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of configuration and training on a major vendor healthcare information system.
- General knowledge of Meaningful Use, PQRS, HEDIS guidelines and requirements.
