About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical and administrative support across multiple outpatient practice locations
- Deliver direct patient care by obtaining vital signs and collecting patient histories
- Support providers during clinical visits
- Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate patient care services
- Prepare patient documentation and ensure records are ready for provider review
- Facilitate patient flow and maintain clean exam rooms
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant training program or a minimum of one (1) year of direct, hands-on patient care experience in a clinical setting
- Valid driver's license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care practices
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record systems
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
