About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads staff selection and development of Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
- Provides direction, expertise, and support for Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
- Assists the Specialty Pharmacy Manager – System Clinics with execution of strategic initiatives
- Monitors key performance indicators
- Reviews operational, compliance, productivity, and financial reports
- Develops task analysis evaluations and reviews expectations with Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
- Maintains deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy accreditation standards and regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire date
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Certification within 6 months
- Two years pharmacy technician experience + leadership experience or 5 years pharmacy technician experience required
- Prior experience with third party billing and financial counseling required
- Prior experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Prior experience with specialty pharmacy accreditation preferred
