Key responsibilities & impact

Leads staff selection and development of Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
Provides direction, expertise, and support for Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
Assists the Specialty Pharmacy Manager – System Clinics with execution of strategic initiatives
Monitors key performance indicators
Reviews operational, compliance, productivity, and financial reports
Develops task analysis evaluations and reviews expectations with Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators
Maintains deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy accreditation standards and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire date
Must obtain National Pharmacy Certification within 6 months
Two years pharmacy technician experience + leadership experience or 5 years pharmacy technician experience required
Prior experience with third party billing and financial counseling required
Prior experience with Epic EMR preferred
Prior experience with specialty pharmacy accreditation preferred
