About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides genetic counseling to prenatal patients
- Participates in the care of women referred for preconception and pregnancy-related genetic indications
- Provides genetic counseling services both in person and by telehealth
- Risk assessment, coordination of genetic testing, and interpretation of genetic test results are integral responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master of Science in Genetic Counseling or equivalent
- Two or more years’ experience as a clinical genetic counselor
- ABGC Board certification or Active Candidate Status
- Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure Genetic Counselor license or eligibility
