About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for prescription order entry and insurance processing
- Patient outreach to coordinate prescription fulfillment and delivery
- Collaborate with the central pharmacy dispensing team
- Resolve insurance issues and communicate prescription delays to patients
- Serve as the primary point of contact with patients for medication fulfillment needs
- Assist in training new staff and contribute to team meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Pharmacy Technician registration must be completed with KY Board of Pharmacy by date of hire
- Previous retail, mail order, central/call center pharmacy work experience highly preferred
- National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but not required
