About the role

  • Assists the Community Pharmacy Manager with the direction and development of pharmacy staff
  • Provides direct patient care services including drug regimen review and medication counseling
  • Performs all pharmacy operations in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintains appropriate patient record documentation for clinical and dispensing services
  • Ensures appropriate documentation of medication events
  • Responsible for inventory management functions
  • Supports orientation, training, and development of pharmacy staff
  • Ensures compliance with various regulations and protocols
  • Coordinates safe transitions of care for patients

Requirements

  • Indiana Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Community Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Must obtain Immunization certification within 6 months
