About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze business and customer needs and develop application-based solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system issues, escalating when appropriate
Support reporting, analytics, system administration, and business application functionality
Serve as liaison between end users, Information Technology teams, and external vendors
Participate in system implementations, testing, upgrades, maintenance, and process improvement initiatives
Create and maintain functional documentation, reports, and training materials
Lead or participate in project teams for departmental and enterprise-wide initiatives
Provide education and consultation on applications, processes, and compliance requirements
Maintain databases, reporting tools, and system documentation
Analyze customer needs, provide resolutions or products, and create applications, electronic forms, and reports
Maintain optimal departmental application operation with IT or external vendors
Represent the assigned area on system implementation, policy, practice-change, and process-redesign project teams
Keep current on industry and regulatory/compliance issues and educate customers
Potentially supervise staff and provide system-wide accountability within the department or functional area

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline or computer science
3 to 5 years of experience working with systems, as a functional application super-user, or providing consultative application usage/design input
Strong knowledge of systems support, business applications, analytics, reporting, or supply chain operations
Excellent working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database applications
Strong organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and human relations skills
Experience with system implementation and project management preferred
Experience with Workday is a plus
Experience with GHX procurement and ordering platform is a plus
Experience with Databricks reporting and analytics platform is a plus
Additional related education and/or experience preferred
