About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the assigned department
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of non-physician staff
- Select, train, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for staff
- Oversee all functions of the medical group including reception and scheduling activities
- Maintain office policies and procedures in accordance with physician requirements
- Cover front and/or back office functions
- Functions autonomously to provide guidance for quality patient experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires level of literacy, communication and math skills normally demonstrated at the level of an Associate’s Degree
- Required at least two years experience in a physician's office or medical environment
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or current LPN license may be required for certain assignments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
