About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the daily operations of the Flight Services
- Contribute to development of services, programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
- Support implementation and management of operational and capital budgets
- Provide appropriate representation at meetings and on hospital committees
- Collaborate with Medical Staff and Clinical Staff regarding flight programs and services
- Continually evaluate performance relative to need for improvement of processes
- Manage staff resources by overseeing the recruiting, selecting, hiring and orienting of qualified individuals
- Develop and monitor applicable policies and procedures
- Report directly to the designated Administrative position within the facility
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSN or MSN required
- 3-5 years of experience relevant to patient population
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, CFRN (can substitute CEN or CCRN), and CMTE within 2 years of hire
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families
- Knowledge of the requirements of applicable regulatory and accreditation agencies
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
- May require possession of a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
