About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personalized coordination, clarification, and communication of administrative aspects of care including patient needs assessments
- Assist with insurance verification, maintaining and handling documentation, and scheduling of appointments
- Partner with the clinical care team to ensure a timely diagnosis and treatment
- Optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless experience for the patient and family
- Identify barriers and assist with additional resource support
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Medical terminology, Medical Assistant Training, Patient Care Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant Training
- Two years of health care experience required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet constantly shifting deadlines and timelines
- Excellent customer service and recovery skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Working towards obtaining a Patient Navigation Certification
