About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
- Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan
- Implement the plan of care through direct patient care
- Evaluate the patient's and family's response to care and teaching
- Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record
- Provide care based on the best evidence available
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification is required
- Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired
- Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations
- Employees must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire if working at certain facilities
