Senior Manager, Population Health

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate programs related to medical management and performance-based arrangements
- Interface with all levels of staff, health plans, and physicians
- Develop processes and implementation activities for payer projects
- Implement solutions and oversee performance measures including Medicare Stars Rating and HEDIS
- Serve as a program facilitator for value-based arrangements
- Develop and implement select payer programs and determine progression toward goals
- Review and present reports to senior management for decision-making
- Act as liaison between assigned payer and the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current license as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Five or more years of RN experience in health care or managed care related field
- Proven record of leading meetings and implementing advanced business solutions
- Familiarity with workflow and process improvement applicable to a healthcare setting
- Prior project management experience
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in personal software applications, including word processing, generating spreadsheets, and creating graphics/presentations
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Skills to mentor clinical and non-clinical teams
