Financial Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the insurance division Banner Plans and Networks monthly processes
- Help support the quarterly forecast process
- Analyze revenue, expense, and FTEs by department compared to forecast
- Reconciliation of membership, care coordination payments and physician incentives to accruals
- Prepare alternate and complete financial and statistical reports
- Create and generates reports used to analyze data
- Act as a technical resource and liaison to system management and department heads
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- Requires proficiency level typically attained with zero to two years experience in healthcare finance
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects
- Proven analytical skills are necessary
- Must be proficient in the use of sophisticated software programs and office desktop applications
- Excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills are required
