Key responsibilities & impact

Authorize initial admitting and do concurrent reviews for medical necessity
Work with facilities and out-patient providers
Collaborate with other reviewers regarding changes in patient care
Monitor care to ensure treatment is appropriate and effective
Assess member's plan of care and develop, implement, monitor and document utilization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field
Independent or associate licensure
Licensure in Social work, professional counseling or marriage and family
3 years clinical experience in counseling, care management, case management, care coordination
Working knowledge of care management and case management
