About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administers occupational therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist
Implements individualized treatment plans considering the patient's varied needs
Monitors ongoing effectiveness of treatment and collaborates with the Occupational Therapist to modify the plan of care
Documents according to standards set by the department and regulatory agencies
Communicates pertinent patient information to ensure follow through of care
Exhibits adaptability in caseload and scheduling
Demonstrates supervision and delegation of personnel to ensure quality patient care
Participates in department process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA, or equivalent
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the State of practice
BLS certification required
Clinical competency, experience, training and education necessary to perform the job
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire and maintain for duration of employment
