Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Supply Chain, including receiving, warehousing, purchasing, stocking, and inventory management
Manage hospital supplies, mail, shipping, medical gases, equipment rentals, recalls, and on-demand operational needs
Conduct routine rounding with team members and customers to ensure operational needs are met
Perform facility rounding to maintain life safety and infection prevention standards
Manage supply expense budgets while developing and implementing a strategic vision for service improvement
Foster and maintain a culture of excellence that supports team members, customers, patients, and visitors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
Five or more years of Materials Management and related experience
Effective leadership, organizational, negotiation, communication and human relations skills
Ability to work with medical/surgical supplies & computerized inventory control
For positions in the Ambulatory Surgery Center setting, 2 or more years of supply chain experience in the ASC industry is required.
Must be able to work effectively with the materials management inventory system and all common office software.
