Key responsibilities & impact

Understand the needs of the people we serve
Inform design of accessible experiences
Collaborate with teams to develop lasting relationships with patients
Lead Accessibility efforts for digital scope in partnership with Marketing, Innovation and Product teams
Establish Accessibility processes and train teammates
Analyze design for Accessibility compliance and develop remediation solutions
Promote Accessibility within the organization
Coordinate vendor relationships and subscriptions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field or equivalent level of experience and education
4 or more years of related work experience with at least two years of direct or matrixed team member leadership experience
Deep experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and ADA Section 508 Accessibility standards
Strong knowledge of WCAG success criteria, WAI-ARIA, Section 508, EN 301 549
Experience coordinating Accessibility audits internally and independently or aided by expert vendors
Experience integrating Accessibility within the product definition, design and testing processes
Experience integrating Accessibility within Design Systems
Strong knowledge of assistive technologies such as Screen readers, magnifiers and alternative input devices
Systems thinking and Service Design experience pertinent to omnichannel digital experiences
Adept at planning design research and testing with people who have disabilities
Experience with FIGMA and effective Accessibility annotation
Strong storytelling skills and ability to problem-solve and work independently
Experience collaborating with large teams across functions using Agile and Scrum ways of working
