About the role
- Take inbound calls answering questions from providers and their staff members
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction with a goal of first call resolution
- Receive, document, research and respond to provider inquiries and escalated calls
- Work cohesively with appropriate parties to ensure delivery of outstanding customer service
- Identify and resolve managed care issues concerning claims, contract interpretation, utilization management
- Assist internal departments in resolving provider appeals
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of high-volume call center experience
- At least 3+ years of healthcare experience, including knowledge of billing, coding, medical claims
- Must live in Tucson or Phoenix area
