Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinates and facilitates patient billing and collection activities
Researching and holding payers accountable
Resolving outstanding issues with insurance payers
Builds strong working relationships with assigned business units
Responds to incoming calls and makes outbound calls to resolve billing issues
Works independently under general supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year experience Patient Financial Services - Collections and Accounts Receivable experience in healthcare
Revenue Cycle experience
Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Waystar.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
