About the role
- Coordinates and facilitates patient billing and collection activities
- Researching and holding payers accountable
- Resolving outstanding issues with insurance payers
- Builds strong working relationships with assigned business units
- Responds to incoming calls and makes outbound calls to resolve billing issues
- Works independently under general supervision
Requirements
- 1 year experience Patient Financial Services - Collections and Accounts Receivable experience in healthcare
- Revenue Cycle experience
- Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Waystar.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
