About the role
- Supporting the budget process
- Compiling and presenting financial information
- Conducting analysis to support financial decision making
- Assembling reports for key leaders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Actuaries, Medical Economics, and Financial Reporting members
- Running intermediate queries in Microsoft Excel and database management tools
- Assisting in identification and implementation of operating improvements and efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 3-4 years of experience in healthcare financial management/analysis work
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with changing needs and deadlines
- Excellent human relations skills
- Strong abilities in statistical analysis, data interpretation, computer software applications, database and spreadsheet programs, proficiency in financial modeling techniques
