About the role
- Evaluate patient's functional abilities and limitations.
- Establish a plan of care and treatment goals.
- Implement individualized treatment plan considering the patient's needs.
- Document according to standards set by the department and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate pertinent patient information to ensure the best possible follow through of care.
- Exhibit adaptability in assignments related to caseload, scheduling, and staffing shifts.
- Demonstrate appropriate direction and delegation of personnel.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational program in occupational therapy approved by the appropriate governing board.
- Must possess a current Occupational Therapy license from the State of practice.
- Current license from state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in an automated patient care environment.
- Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
