About the role
- responsible for the evaluation, planning, administration, and supervision of Physical Therapy treatment in accordance with physician referral
- evaluates patient's functional abilities and limitations
- implements individualized treatment plan
- documents according to professional practice guidelines set by regulatory agencies
- communicates pertinent patient information to ensure the best possible follow through of care
- exhibits adaptability in assignments as it relates to required 1:1 mentorship hours
- demonstrates appropriate supervision and delegation of personnel
Requirements
- graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy
- current Physical Therapy license within the State of practice
- BLS certification required
- actively enrolled in an accredited corresponding certification or residency program for which they are being mentored
- committed to professional development
- ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in an automated patient care environment
