About the role
- Coordinates and implements clinical research protocols
- Collects and records medical data and history
- Assists in patient assessments and maintains study files
- Provides study information and assists in recruitment
- Performs required tasks by protocol including phlebotomy and EKG
- Triages adverse events and communicates with research physician
- Provides educational information to patients and families
- Ensures uniform implementation of protocols
- Serves as a liaison to other departments and agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field
- 2-4 years of clinical research experience
- Familiarity with medical and clinical terminology
- Excellent organizational and task management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and study information
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing practice
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
