About the role
- Administers occupational therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist
- Implements individualized treatment plans and monitors ongoing effectiveness of treatment
- Documents communication with supervising Occupational Therapist and treatment results to physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Participates in discharge planning and provides ongoing education to caregivers
- Exhibits adaptability in assignments and participates in department/facility process improvement
Requirements
- Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA, or equivalent
- Must possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the State of practice
- BLS certification required
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required
