About the role

  • Provide decision support business intelligence that may include cost accounting, financial planning, payroll, and productivity within the Financial Planning and Analysis team
  • Manage large datasets and databases to develop and maintain the decision support systems
  • Work with innovative analytical tools while applying advanced data mining knowledge, data visualization, measurement analysis, and healthcare billing expertise
  • Develop enhanced methods of data analysis and presentation, facilitating both quality and efficiencies to support strategic planning, leadership, and decision-making activities
  • Work closely with executive, senior, and mid-level management to deliver BI solutions
  • Develop curriculum and conduct end-user training sessions as needed on the various application modules of the business intelligence, data warehousing, and analytics systems
  • Analyze and report on customer needs and manage the identification and research of new developments

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of business, finance, health management, statistics, and analytics as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Seven plus years of decision support experience in healthcare or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and related industry experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with changing needs and deadlines
  • Proficiency in the use of sophisticated software programs, data interpretation and spreadsheet programs
  • Proven advanced analytical skills.
