- Apply fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy as prescribed by physicians
- Manage mechanical ventilators
- Perform assessments of patient’s disease process and response to therapy

Requirements
- Associate or technical degree
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Current license in state practiced as required by state law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Basic knowledge of clinical techniques and applications
- Highly effective human relation skills
