About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

In this role you’ll ensure the general ledger and financial reporting are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with GAAP.
Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls related to general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Analyze financial trends and investigate variances across the general ledger and financial statements.
Help maintain company-wide compliance with reconciliation standards and internal control requirements.
Complete investment portfolio accounting entries and related reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting reports, including analyzing and explaining budget variances.
Support regulatory reporting by preparing data for filings such as FDIC Call Reports and SEC reports.
Follow company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
You have 2 or more years of accounting or related experience (Required).
