About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete standard operations processes related to consumer credit disputes, escalations, and tax reporting
- Perform data entry, reporting data validation, case investigation, reconciliation requests, and client inquiry workflows
- Support transaction processing, reconciliation, and resolution of research requests from clients, consumer reporting agencies, and taxing authorities
- Perform research, follow-up, and resolution of routine financial data requests
- Review documents and forms to identify and resolve issues
- Validate financial data and reports against the system of record
- Identify potential issues and escalate risk concerns
- Provide quality service and support to internal partners and external clients
- Work requests received in the e-task queue, team email boxes, and exception reports
- Ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines and accurate, timely delivery of tax forms
- Assist with procedure maintenance, yearly tax form testing, production validation, and other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties efficiently
- Ability to meet SLAs, strict deadlines, and business KPIs
- Proven history of effective ownership and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex situations
- Effective communication, excellent listening skills, and professional phone/email etiquette
- Professionalism in all situations
- Mandatory overtime during tax season, generally January–April, potentially including up to six-day workweeks and an additional 1–2 hours daily Monday–Friday or on bank holidays
- College degree preferred
- Operations experience a plus
