About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through dedicated classes and study time
- Learn foundational financial advisor skills
- Acquire, build, and manage client relationships
- Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and provide advice and solutions
- Work in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care
- Progress from Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I to Stage II after demonstrating success
- Use a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Build a network with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice
- Deliver client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center is determined based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and registration process required
- Monday through Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays required
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) — desired qualification
- Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum one year of financial services industry or sales experience — desired qualification
- Ability to work in the applicable market and commute within a reasonable distance of home
