About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate mobile applications with backend microservices
Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Code solutions and unit test requirements according to acceptance and compliance criteria
Design and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers
Design, develop, and maintain automated integration, regression, and performance test suites
Automate manual release activities and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, and engineering teams
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across mobile and backend platforms
Execute story refinement, requirements definition, estimation, and proof-of-concept work
Mentor junior software engineers and coach the team on CI/CD practices and engineering best practices
Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in iOS application development
Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Xcode
7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and mobile performance optimization
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
Experience with mobile security, authentication, and authorization frameworks preferred
Familiarity with DevOps tools, monitoring, and observability platforms preferred
Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile applications with large user bases preferred
2+ years of relevant work experience desired
Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
