About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate mobile applications with backend microservices
  • Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Code solutions and unit test requirements according to acceptance and compliance criteria
  • Design and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated integration, regression, and performance test suites
  • Automate manual release activities and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, and engineering teams
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across mobile and backend platforms
  • Execute story refinement, requirements definition, estimation, and proof-of-concept work
  • Mentor junior software engineers and coach the team on CI/CD practices and engineering best practices
  • Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in iOS application development
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Xcode
  • 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and mobile performance optimization
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
  • Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
  • Experience with mobile security, authentication, and authorization frameworks preferred
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, monitoring, and observability platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile applications with large user bases preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience desired
  • Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
