About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning and resource optimization models
  • Develop and maintain volume forecasts, capacity plans, and vendor models
  • Partner routinely with Front Line Units (FLUs) to ensure model accuracy
  • Conduct model production and performance presentations with executive leadership
  • Evaluate new opportunities and implement enhancements to capacity model inputs, processes, and outputs
  • Drive capacity modeling consistency and innovation across Resource Analytics
  • Modernize existing capacity models using advanced simulation and optimization techniques
  • Support documentation and adherence to Model Risk Management (MRM) guidelines and requirements
  • Drive consistency in model development and usage across peer groups
  • Monitor models to improve forecasting performance and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Finance, or other STEM field
  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative roles supporting complex functions
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Copilot
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong aptitude for problem solving and collaboration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, specifically the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to key stakeholders
  • Natural curiosity and drive to answer important business questions
  • High aptitude for self-motivation and self-determined project work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • First shift availability in the United States of America
  • 40 hours per week
  • Desired: Master’s degree in a related STEM field
  • Desired: Prior capacity or financial planning experience
  • Desired: Understanding of linear regression and time-series modeling techniques
  • Desired: Understanding of simulation and operations research techniques
  • Desired: Experience with SAS, Python, R, or similar statistical software
  • Desired: Experience with Arena or similar discrete event simulation software
  • Desired: Experience with SAS OR, GAMS, XPRESS, CPLEX, or similar optimization software
  • Desired: Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software
  • Desired: Prior Banking industry analytics and modeling experience, specifically with models that adhere to standards set by a risk management governing body
