Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience leading and managing multiple competing and dynamic deliverables with Mainframe Storage
  • 10+ years of experience with Storage Architecture
  • Experience with Encryption
  • Experience with Fiber protocols and configuration
  • Experience with FICON
  • Experience with HCD/IOCP
  • Experience with I/O Performance for DASD, Switches, and Virtual Tape
  • Experience with refreshes/upgrades including Brocade directors/switches, Hitachi DASD, and IBM Virtual Tape (TS7700s)
  • Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) replication design and configuration
  • Experience with capacity planning including networks/switches
  • Experience with cost benefit analysis, consolidation, and reduction
  • Experience with design and planning of data center moves, including data center role swaps between production and contingency/disaster recovery
  • Experience with disaster recovery exercises
  • Ability to lead and set direction under minimal supervision
  • Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Knowledge of analytical thinking, architecture, solution design, technical strategy development, application development, collaboration, data management, DevOps practices, risk management, agile practices, automation, influence, solution delivery process, and test engineering
  • Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
  • 40 hours per week
