About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop wealth transfer strategies for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families with net worth of $50 million or more
- Design, create, and deliver presentation pieces for client meetings and national events
- Partner with Advisors or Relationship Managers in client solicitation efforts and wealth management strategy generation
- Develop recommendations and assist Advisors or Relationship Managers with customized planning strategies
- Advise on inter-generational wealth transfer, estate planning, concentrated-position diversification, philanthropy, business succession, global asset allocation, risk management, and retirement planning
- Author whitepapers, articles, and other materials on topics affecting the UHNW client segment
- Provide service to clients
- Assist with retention of UHNW relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree required
- 7 years of private law firm practice or similar experience in transfer taxation or trusts and estates
- Planning experience for ultra-high-net-worth families and individuals
- Strong tax, legal research, and legal writing skills
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, or ability to obtain them within 120 days
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Brentmark Estate Planning Tools (NumberCruncher)
- Critical thinking, oral communication, presentation, active listening, collaboration, and written communication skills
- Business development, wealth planning, pipeline management, issue management, prioritization, adaptability, attention to detail, and customer/client focus
