About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for various day to day accounting processes, financial analysis, and reporting
- Accountable for application of financial principles
- Responsible for data dictionaries/conformance to instructions and preparation of various regulatory reports
- Prepare data submissions for regulatory reporting groups for US GAAP/LOCAL GAAP
- Assist with the preparation of stand-alone external financials
- Analyze monthly financial results and prepare internal management reports
- Identify and escalate issues, errors, and efficiency opportunities
- Support ad hoc projects such as system implementation and change management
- Liaising with relevant controllers and responding to external auditors' queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 0-2 years of experience
- Basic working knowledge of reporting, analysis, accounting
- Ability to read and comprehend financial reports
- Understanding of risk management and internal controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
- Working knowledge of Oracle/SAP, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, SharePoint preferred
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot or equivalent generative AI tools
