About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Originate and develop new business opportunities through proactive client engagement, industry networking, referral generation, and strategic prospecting
- Lead clients through the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, solution design, pricing strategy, proposal development, product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and deal closure
- Provide subject matter expertise across the GPS payables portfolio, including Purchasing Cards, Corporate Travel Cards, Virtual Payables, and Comprehensive Payables
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering consultative recommendations aligned to treasury and payment optimization objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in the payables marketplace, with an understanding of the competitive landscape and regional marketplace variations
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced global environment
- Experience leading technology demonstrations and discussions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
