About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyzes client's financial performance by comparing it to past performance, projections, and industry standards
  • Reviews financial statements, assesses compliance with financial covenants, and renews risk ratings
  • Assists in underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation, and closing of transactions
  • Evaluates transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability
  • Builds projection models based on historical performance, industry forecasts, and due diligence findings
  • Trains, coaches, and mentors credit analysts
  • Manages end-to-end credit approval process and portfolio monitoring team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years commercial and/or corporate banking credit experience
  • Experience in underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation, and closing of new or existing transactions
  • Must have commercial credit analysis, financial modeling, traded products, and underwriting experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power Point skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
