About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership within a team accountable for managing unbiased, independent assessments of GT&Os current state technical capabilities as well as the management of horizontal regulatory exams and internal audits and risk assessments across GT&O.
  • Establish/maintain effective partnerships while ensuring an independent viewpoint through proper discipline.
  • Manage the governance and oversight for GTO horizontal issues, exams and audits.
  • Review all newly opened GT&O issues for potential horizontal impact and validate that those issues are not duplicative of existing issues or audits.
  • Create and manage complex project plans with team and stakeholders for projects and programs as necessary.
  • Lead full issue management of any issues owned by the horizontal team.
  • Create and manage dashboard and governance reporting.
  • Perform analysis of data to identify themes and potential common risks across GTO teams.
  • Facilitate remediation and action plan tracking and reporting for Independent Technology assessments, horizontal exams and audits across GTO teams.
  • Assist executive leaders with activities related to Independent Technology Assessments and Horizontal exams, audits and issues.
  • Document and maintain processes owned by the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ Years Experience analytical and technical experience with an ability to navigate the Global Technology organization and assess technical capabilities
  • Results-oriented leader who can achieve results across teams based on trust, credibility, teamwork and knowledge
  • Exhibits a working knowledge of Bank of America and Global Technology risk management / risk framework, processes and tools; ability to identify, debate and escalate risk
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate at an executive level
  • Working knowledge of process management and the ability to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of a process and corresponding controls
  • In depth project experience with an ability to apply structure and drive execution
  • Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on facts and evidence
  • Excellent sense of judgment knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations
  • Builds strong partnerships, works across boundaries, and effectively influences
  • Minimum of 7 years of technology experience in application development, information security, infrastructure, test engineering, or solutions delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Has participated in design and/or implementation of major IT Risk Management or Process Improvement projects
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to create executive level presentations
  • Self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative.
