About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls
- Develops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards
- Manages data related incidents and identifies, communicates, and resolves or escalates issues as needed
- Develops, manages, and executes on controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with data platform
- Partners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/business or related fields
- Data management/analysis, database, and/or securities product expertise within the financial industry (preferred)
- Business acumen; ability to bridge business and technical topics
- Strong partnering and communication abilities
- Able to self-direct/prioritize tasks, detailed-oriented, organized, self-initiated
- Curious and independent thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to understand waterfall dataflows/logic, set theory, and other related dataflows helpful
- Proficient with Bloomberg, SQL, and Excel (Preferred)
