About the role
- Support Credit Officers in underwriting, monitoring, and managing credit portfolios
- Serve as a key liaison between credit teams, operations, and Global Market business partners
- Handle complex transactions and provide support to other associates to mitigate risks
- Manage end-to-end credit processes including underwriting, monitoring, and documentation
- Coordinate pre- and post-closing activities, including due diligence and approval documentation
- Support client onboarding by reviewing client prospectuses to identify risk objectives
- Monitor compliance with credit agreements; maintain ticklers and collect financials
- Identify and resolve data quality issues; suggest process improvements
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Lead or contribute to special projects
- Coach and support other team members
Requirements
- Experience in institutional banking and Global Markets (2-5 years)
- Knowledge of trading documentation and agreements (ISDA, MSFTA, Repo, etc.)
- Understanding new business, including reviewing prospectuses and documentation
- Ability to manage and analyze large data sets, using tools like Excel or BI platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with credit and risk systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Collaborative mindset with customer focus
