About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define architectural vision and solutions aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy
Evaluate system impacts, determine primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces
Assist with end-to-end solution design
Define non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features
Ensure solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers
Define and execute cloud and platform architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and enterprise technology standards
Provide architectural oversight to ensure platform initiatives support scalability, resiliency, reliability, and long‑term evolution
Educate team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience designing and leading enterprise‑scale cloud architectures with deep hands‑on expertise in AWS services
Strong background delivering technology solutions in highly regulated financial services environments
Experience architecting platforms that meet data residency, encryption, and access control requirements
Proven ability to partner effectively with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Infrastructure teams
Experience guiding and mentoring engineers and architects, setting technical direction, and raising overall cloud maturity
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and senior business stakeholders
Experience managing architecture dependencies across distributed systems and integrating cloud platforms with existing enterprise applications
